| Eco-Tour Flashback |

Eco-tours are something that we love to do.  It's so rewarding to be able to take a group of people out and show them what watermen do.  It's even more fun when it's with a friend and his family!  We took this tour back in June with our friend, Andy Wasniewski, his daughter-in-law, his grandchildren and a few of their friends.  They were a curious group and they had a lot of fun!
Dipping up soft crabs

Brad, the first mate

Cecil sharing his knowledge...he's been working on the water over 60 years

Checking crab pots

We caught a "buster"

Bunkers for bait

Brad pulling in a crab pot

Soft crab (the darker crab)  just seconds after she shed and the shell she just shed (the lighter colored crab)

See how wrinkly the crab is after shedding?

Pulling in a crab pot

Andy and Cecil

Cecil shaft tonging for oysters

Putting them on the board

Checking out Cecil's catch

Checking on cage raised triploids

The crew

He's smiling....it's rare :)

If this looks like fun to you, schedule a tour!  We do tours year-round but you'll see the most once the weather starts to get a bit warmer in May until October.  Message forrestdameron@aol.com to book your tour!
